Opening Day

Today the studio doors open for the very first time. I arrived early, long before the light settled through the windows, just to stand in the quiet for a moment. The silence felt full, almost like the room itself had been waiting with me. Buckets filled. Tools lined up. Fresh petals resting in cool water. Everything prepared with care.
Opening day feels both steady and unreal. For months I have been building this space piece by piece, always imagining how it would feel to finally share it. Every decision has been thoughtful. Every material chosen with intention. Sustainability has shaped every part of this journey. I want this studio to grow responsibly and honestly. I want it to be a place where the beauty of nature is honored, not taken for granted.
As I work this morning, I keep noticing the small moments. The way the paper folds around a bouquet. The comforting sound of snips cutting through stems. The scent of greenery rising from the table. These tiny pieces of the process have carried me through long days and long nights. They remind me why I chose this craft. There is something meaningful in creating a design that will go out into the world and become part of someone’s celebration, comfort, or memory.
This studio is more than four walls. It is a place shaped by your support and trust. You have allowed me to bring this vision to life and to grow into a florist who values intention over speed and craftsmanship over trend. Opening day is not the end of the work that has led me here. It is the beginning of a promise to create with care and to keep improving every part of my practice.
Thank you for being here at the start. Thank you for letting me craft something beautiful that might become part of your story. I look forward to each bouquet, each season, each quiet morning in the studio that is still to come. Opening day is only the beginning. There is so much to create and even more to look forward to.
With love and blooms,
