Winter Light and Quiet Work

The studio has been filled with a soft kind of winter light this month. It settles on the petals and foliage in a way that slows everything down and makes me notice details I might have missed. February feels like the deep breath before spring. It is calm, steady work with warm hands in cool water and small moments of color against the quiet.

I have been preparing for early spring pieces and reviewing how each material lines up with my values. Sustainable choices take practice. They take questions and patience. I am learning to trust that slower decisions often make the most beautiful work. Thank you for being here during this thoughtful stretch of the season.
